High level of hygiene.
KUKA DELTA robots have been developed for use under extremely sensitive conditions.
Thanks to its stainless steel body, it is ideally equipped for hygienically sensitive areas. In this way, it can come into direct contact with, for example, food, medicines or electronic spare parts.

The corrosion-resistant stainless steel body of the robot was developed in accordance with German LFGB and US American FDA food standards , and also has the European CE certificate , the American UL certificate and the German TÜV safety functions certificate . The robot is protected against dust and moisture in accordance with protection class IP 67 and can therefore also be cleaned with high-pressure machines and alkaline or corrosive cleaning agents.

First-class values for safe automation and sustainable economy
The robot is controlled by our new robot control system, KR C5 micro, which not only saves 35% energy compared to the previous model, but also takes up less space and offers more safety . This also affects performance: Achieving cycle times of up to 0.5 seconds, the combination of KR C5 micro and KR DELTA is ideal for processing tasks in the food industry, for example. The product, which has encapsulated transmissions and ball joints made of self-lubricating materials, is extremely easy to maintain.
